We’ll guide you step by step:
1. Make a request to join
Write to us at: contacteznous@ecosystem.eco
Our team will then send you by mail a membership contract and our eco-fee scale as well as a declaration template so that you can complete an initial declaration for the equipment placed on the market.
Good to know
Any company based outside of France and wishing to join ecosystem will be required to use an authorised representative established in France.
weee EUROPE offers compliance services for WEEE and Batteries in 30 European Countries (EU27+CH+ NO+UK).

For your information, we have also identified companies offering services to Producers located outside of France, or not having a French subsidiary (non-exhaustive list):
2. Sign your membership contract
Upon receipt of the duly completed but not signed or dated General and Special Terms and Conditions of Membership (French copy), ecosystem will send you a Docusign link to validate your contract via an electronic signature.
Good to know
It is important to return the General and Special Terms and Conditions for membership in Word format only.
3. Declare the products you placed on the market
As soon as the contract is signed you will receive a mail with your login credentials in order to complete your declarations on our ecosystem member portal.
Good to know
At this stage of the membership process, the declaration is an estimation of the amount of products previously placed on the market (or forecasted sales). This declaration enables the eco-fee amount to be defined (see eco-fee scale) and an advance payment invoice to be paid before the beginning of the period in question (year or quarter).
All advance payments are systematically adjusted (invoice or credit note issued) at each phase in the declaration process.
The declaration and payments schedule is available in our Special Conditions of Membership.
4. Obtain your Unique Identification Number (UIN)
It is necessary to obtain a Unique Identification Number (UIN) in order to prove that as a producer you are in compliance.
By joining ecosystem, we will manage all the necessary formalities with the ADEME. Once your membership has been completed, we will send you your UIN.
You must then include this UIN in your General Terms and Conditions of Sale and any other contractual documents related to the sale of the equipment.
Do you place products on several European markets? The formalities are made easier by the single declaration service provided by weee EUROPE. Further information
Once your contract has been signed, you will be able to access our specific producer services:
